Who we are
We’re a small Pokémon card shop based in Surrey, run by a collector. Every card here is handled the way we’d want our own handled: looked at properly, described honestly and packed with care.
You may already know us from our eBay shop, where our listings carry the same techtrotree. wordmark. This site sells the same stock directly — the same cards, photographed the same way.
How we grade condition
Raw (ungraded) cards are graded by eye on a five-step scale. The grade is our honest opinion; the photos are the evidence, so please judge centring, edges and surface for yourself.
| Grade | What it means |
|---|---|
| Mint | Perfect to the naked eye: sharp corners, clean edges and an unmarked surface. Centring is not part of the grade — judge it from the photos. |
| Near Mint | Looks unplayed. At most a speck of edge wear or a faint surface mark that shows only under a light. |
| Lightly Played | Light wear you can see: a little edge or corner whitening, or small scuffs. No creases, bends or water damage. |
| Played | Obvious wear: whitening, scuffing and possibly a minor crease. Still sleeves and plays without trouble. |
| Damaged | Heavy wear such as creases, tears, water damage or writing. Priced for its condition — check the photos. |
Graded slabs carry the grading company’s grade, not ours. We list the certificate number so you can check it on the grader’s own site.
Photographed as sold
Every single and slab is photographed front and back, and the photos are of the exact item you will receive — never a stock image. Where a listing has several identical copies, the photos show one of them and we say so on the page.
How we pack
Raw cards go into a penny sleeve and a top loader, sandwiched between rigid card, in a plain, unmarked envelope — nothing on the outside says what is inside.
Slabs are bubble-wrapped and posted inside a parcel box, so the case is protected in transit. Sealed product is boxed with padding so corners and seals arrive intact. See delivery for services and prices.
Our prices
Prices are set by us for the item in front of us. We do not publish a price guide, and we never quote third-party “market value” figures.
