Delta Reign

When is Delta Reign released in the UK?

Delta Reign is announced for Friday 6 November 2026, the same day in the UK as everywhere else. Build & Battle Boxes go on sale at select Play! Pokémon stores from 24 October 2026 for prerelease events, and the cards arrive in Pokémon TCG Live on 5 November. UK pre-orders are usually dispatched on or around release day.

Prerelease games use the Build & Battle Box: a ready-to-play 40-card deck plus four booster packs, played as 40-card games. Each store sets its own event times and entry, so check with your local game shop. Every date is also on our UK release calendar.

How many cards are in Delta Reign?

The official announcement says over 135 cards. That includes four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, six other Pokémon ex, more than 20 Trainer cards and more than 35 cards with special illustrations. The final printed numbering, including secret rares, has not been confirmed and will be added after release.

• 4 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex: Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex.
• 6 other Pokémon ex and more than 20 Trainer cards.
• Legendary Stadiums: six Stadium cards that pair up into three Stadiums, each pair forming one wide artwork. A pack that contains one includes both halves. The first one revealed is Legendary Summit.
• Announced special-art cards: 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares and 6 Special Illustration Rares.

PokéBeach reports that the English set is built mainly from the Japanese Storm Emeralda set. Our guide to Japanese vs English Pokémon cards explains how the two releases relate.

What Delta Reign products are coming to the UK?

Delta Reign follows the usual main-set pattern: 10-card booster packs, 1-pack and 3-pack blisters, a 6-pack Booster Bundle, 36-pack and 18-pack booster displays, an Elite Trainer Box with 9 packs and a full-art Kyogre promo, and a Build & Battle Box for prereleases. The checklane blisters marked as Target exclusives are a US retailer line and are not expected in UK shops.

Our guide to Pokémon TCG product types explains what each box is and how they compare. The full list with contents is at the bottom of this page.

Which Delta Reign cards are the chase cards?

Mega Rayquaza ex is the headline card and the one most collectors will be looking for. The English card numbers and rarities are not published yet, so we will add a full chase-card table once the official list is out. Until then we will not guess.

Once the set is out, singles from Delta Reign will appear in our shop as they come in, each photographed as sold. If you pull cards you do not want to keep, you can offer them to us through sell your cards.
