About Chaos Rising
Chaos Rising is the fourth Mega Evolution main set, led by Mega Greninja ex and Mega Floette ex. It was released in the UK and worldwide on 22 May 2026, after prereleases on 9–10 and 16–17 May. It has 122 cards (86 plus 36 secret rares), and unlike the special sets it does come in a 36-pack booster box.
Chaos Rising UK release date
Chaos Rising launched on Friday 22 May 2026 in the UK and worldwide. Prerelease events at participating Play! Pokémon stores ran over the weekends of 9–10 and 16–17 May 2026, using the Build & Battle Box.
How many cards are in Chaos Rising?
Four Megas lead the set: Mega Greninja ex, Mega Floette ex, Mega Pyroar ex and Mega Dragalge ex. It continues the Pokémon Legends: Z-A theme and adapts the Japanese Ninja Spinner set. In total there are 5 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and 5 other Pokémon ex, with more than 20 Trainer cards.

Booster packs hold 10 cards and come in four wraps (Mega Floette, Mega Dragalge, Mega Greninja and Mega Pyroar). As a main set, Chaos Rising has 36-pack and 18-pack booster displays as well as Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Bundles and blisters.
